My experience with Opals Down Under has exceeded my expectations! Customer service is prompt and helpful. Rhys and Scott are professionals whose goal is to find you the perfect opal, which in my case, is a stunning boulder opal with fire and more colors (red, violet, orange, blue, green) than I could have ever imagined when I first embarked on finding an opal, my daughter’s birthstone. The bezel setting is a simple, elegant classic but your (and your jeweller’s) patience throughout the waxing process was so so amazing. Now we have a timeless heirloom for our daughter. I’m so incredibly estatic I can barely contain it. My gorgeous ring arrived via registered post this morning. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this fantastic piece of jewelry. It feels like I’m wearing all of the colours of October on my finger. It’s got the deep reds, firey oranges, and bright yellows of the turning leaves, with the warmth of grass green. It also has the dusky shades of purple and deep blue which are October’s twilight colours. The security of the bezel setting and the durability of the Boulder Opal mean that I will now wear my birthstone daily. Please tell the jeweller that he/she did a marvelous job on the ring. It fits wonderfully with my wedding band, and the two rings look like they were made to go together on my finger. I’m in awe that this was managed without your ever having seen my wedding band. It is wonderful to see the myriad of colours that comprise my favourite season framed in such a beautiful ring. Opals Down Under has done it again. You have gone above and beyond my hopes and expectations, and delivered perfection. I will continue to sing your praises to all and sundry. The stone is incredible – more beautiful than I could have imagined – this is the stone we have been searching for at least 10 years. If you are still in communications with the family of the miner who had this in his private collection please tell them that the stone has found a new home where it will be cherished and loved.

My Opal arrived the 16 of February and I just picked it up from the post office yesterday. I purchased the stone for an engagement ring and it is amazing. I showed the to be bride and she loves it. By far your company has the most brilliant stones. I am wondering if it is possible to find two more opals similar in color, but slightly smaller for a wedding band.
