A little while back, our Opal Cutter was presented with a nice challenge. A miner from Western Queensland brought in a beautiful big chunk of Pipe and Crystal Opal that needed to be observed, cut and polished.
After a bit of head scratching, our Opal Cutter went to work, bit by bit, unleashing a beautiful gem in the process.
So, here is the start…
