A year ago I purchased a beautiful solid crystal opal from you guys, intending to get it set in an engagement ring. You said you would love to see it set. I am engaged now and well here is the result…The photo doesn’t do this ring justice, I have had so many compliments. The stone is set high so i can slip a wedding band underneath without having to get one to fit the shape of the ring. This is really good for me because when I’m at work and cannot wear my opal i can wear my wedding band without it looking an odd shape. I ordered an opal necklace based on a design I provided about fifteen years ago. The order was fulfilled and my wife was delighted with it.
Unfortunately it was stolen recently and I thought I would never be able to replicate the design.

I contacted opals direct and Rhys remembered the design!!! He even asked the original jeweller who had recently retired to remake the original design with a new opal.
The result is amazing – the setting is identical and the opal even more beautiful than the original one.
The financial element was easy and transparent and everything was dealt with easily and smoothly even from the UK.
Couldn’t recommend Rhys and the team at Opals Direct highly enough. Amazing!
