With the new Tariffs coming into effect on August 29, 2025, implemented by the Trump Administration, we would like to make clear a few things to help with our American clients looking to order from us online.
As of August 26, Australia Post is temporarily suspending parcel delivery to the United States due to these recently introduced changes.
HOWEVER, as Opals Down Under ships via International Express (carried via the EMS network), our orders will still be going out.
Please be aware that a 10% import tax (tariff) will be applied by US Customs when the article arrives into the country. You will be notified by USPS of the amount of duties owing, plus any processing/handling fees (and if applicable, state taxes).
