September is nearly here, and while we primarily focus on October’s birthstone (Opal, obviously), we do have a soft spot for Sapphires, in particular Australian Sapphire.
Mined from the Inverell/Glen Innes areas in NSW, we love the variations in colour shown in natural Parti Sapphires, as well as the Golden/Yellow Sapphires, and the deep blues too.
We’ve been stocking these Australian Sapphires for a few months now, and they’ve definitely been an attraction, particularly with stunning settings utilising the gem.
We’ve even had one of our own Opals paired up with a bright Yellow Sapphire for a striking, unusual effect (see here).
