The owner is listed as a certified gemologist appraiser (CGA) and believes the gemstone is worth considerably more than I paid.  I am sure this occurs quite frequently. Basically, he believes I purchased your stone at, or below U.S. wholesale prices.  He also mentioned he routinely does business in Australia. Yours, however, has the most beautiful stone I have ever seen. The vivid colors just seem to flash. I have looked at this stone in every light from ultraviolet to sunlight to ordinary electric light to candlelight and I am still seeing shades that appear new. As a portrait artist, I can tell you that the shades of periwinkle and coral and neon-green and gold and lavender are alternately subtle and, then, in a different light, electric.
